We are a mobile pre-purchase car inspection service based in Fairfax, Virginia. Our inspectors come to the vehicle — a seller’s driveway, a dealership lot, an auction, or a storage unit — and give buyers an independent, professional set of eyes before money changes hands. Why We Started Matevo Inspections
Buying a used car is one of the most expensive decisions most people make with very little information. Photos are edited, listings are vague, and by the time you’ve met a seller and fallen in love with the car, it’s hard to walk away — even when something feels off.
Matevo Inspections was founded in Fairfax in 2026 to change that moment. The idea was simple: before you buy a used car, an inspector should see it in person, test it, scan it, and tell you the truth in plain language — the good and the problems, with photos and measurements you can check yourself.
That’s still how every inspection works today.
What We Do
Every pre-purchase inspection follows the same disciplined process: a clockwise walk around the vehicle starting at the front, a Full-System Diagnostic Scan of the engine, transmission, ABS, airbags and other modules, and a digital report with photos — including close-up, marked photos of every problem we find.
- Essential ($249) — a solid baseline used car inspection: body, interior, tires, fluids, test drive, and a full-system diagnostic scan.
- Complete ($349) — everything in Essential, plus paint-thickness readings that reveal repainted or repaired panels, estimated repair costs, and repair-priority guidance.
- Signature ($549) — our deepest inspection for high-value vehicles, with advanced diagnostics, a negotiation brief you can hand the seller, and priority delivery: your report is targeted within 1 hour after the inspection is complete.
Reports for Essential and Complete are delivered within 4 hours of the inspection. Every finding is documented — nothing is left to a vague phone call.
