Matevo provides independent mobile pre-purchase vehicle inspections throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and supported areas of Maryland. We travel to the vehicle, so a buyer can have a used car independently inspected before making a purchase decision — wherever it is parked, and whether or not the buyer can be there in person.
Matevo is a mobile service-area business. There is no shop to drive to, and we do not operate storefront locations in the cities listed below.

Service availability for a specific booking depends on the exact location of the vehicle and on scheduling. If the address sits near the edge of our territory, we will confirm it with you before the inspection is scheduled rather than accept a job we cannot serve.
Washington, DC
We inspect eligible vehicles located in Washington, DC. City inspections depend on having a safe and permitted place to work: legal curbside access, dealership lot space, or a garage with enough room to open doors, raise the hood and photograph findings. Where a vehicle is parked somewhere the inspector cannot work safely, we coordinate with whoever holds the keys to move it. Matevo does not have a physical office in DC.
Maryland
In Maryland we serve the DC-adjacent suburbs inside our DMV territory — areas such as Bethesda, MD, Rockville, MD, Gaithersburg, MD, Silver Spring, MD, Germantown, MD, Columbia, MD, Bowie, MD, Laurel, MD. We do not currently cover the whole state; Baltimore City, the Eastern Shore and Western Maryland are outside our territory today.
Buying from out of state?
You do not need to live in the DMV. If the vehicle is located inside our service territory, an out-of-state buyer can arrange an inspection before traveling or committing to a purchase, and receive the report remotely.

How mobile inspections work
- Book the inspection and choose your package.
- Provide the vehicle's location and the seller or dealership contact information.
- Matevo coordinates access with the seller and inspects the vehicle on site.
- You receive the digital inspection report with findings and photos.

What areas does Matevo serve?
Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and the DC-adjacent Maryland suburbs described above.
Do you come directly to the vehicle?
Yes. Every inspection is performed where the vehicle is located; there is no location for you or the seller to drive to.
Can you inspect a vehicle at a dealership?
Yes, provided the dealership permits an independent inspection on their lot and gives the inspector access to the vehicle.
Can you inspect a private seller's vehicle?
Yes. The seller needs to agree to the inspection and provide a safe, permitted place for the inspector to work.
Do I need to be present?
No. We coordinate with whoever holds the keys and send the report directly to you. You are welcome to attend if you prefer.
Can I book an inspection if I live outside Virginia?
Yes, as long as the vehicle is inside our service territory. See out-of-state buyers.
What if I am not sure whether the vehicle is inside your service area?
